Waldemaro Martínez began as an announcer in 1980 in one of the radio stations of the leading circuit Unión Radio 1090 AM and after making several programs he joined the megateam as one of the founders of the Mega Estación in 1988. Among the programs carried out by Waldemaro Martínez in Radio highlights Venezuela Todo Color, La hora del Ensueño y del Amor, Disco Report, La Musiteca and Live Program. Waldemaro Martínez has also developed an important activity in the television field, among the various programs carried out, Viva La Juventud stands out, broadcast by Radio Caracas Televisión (RCTV) in 1986. There he also worked as an announcer for promotions from 1986 to 1990. Waldemaro Martínez is one of the best known voices not only in Venezuela but in Latin America as well as in important North American cities. Additionally, he works as an announcer for several stations in Venezuela, HBO OLE for all of Latin America, KQ 97.9 FM in New York, Salsa 1030 AM in Orlando, Grupo Mega Comunications in the cities of Washington, Boston and Philadelphia, Tropical FM in Philadelphia, Brava FM in Connecticut, Manía 92.9 FM in the Dominican Republic, 88.9 FM in Bogotá, Circuito Super Estación in Colombia, and Universo 93.7 in Santiago de Chile. In addition, Waldemaro Martínez is the voice that identifies Banco de Venezuela, Líderes Entretaiment Group, Harinas Mi Mesa and Vatel Oil from Cargill de Venezuela, Ariel from Procter & Gambel, Evenpro, Water Brother Production, Ketazol from Laboratorios Vargas, Rayban Lenses, Pants Lois, Gillette, Plumrose, Imgeve among many others. With a degree in Advertising from the New Professions University Institute and with advanced musical studies, Waldemaro Martínez widely dominates instruments such as the Creole harp and the keyboard. For his outstanding work in the medium, he has been awarded the Gold Meridian as Best Radio and Television Announcer from 1991 to 1994 and Best Disjockey in 1991 by the House of the Artist. Likewise, he was recognized as Best Announcer in Latin America by the Chilean Embassy in our country in 1997.
